Tender for the procurement of the bottle label remover and PET packing belt production line

Within the framework of the USAID-funded Program Waste Management Technologies in Regions (phase II), implemented by CENN

The USAID/WMTR II program has announced a tender for companies that are engaged in the supply and transportation of new equipment for the production line below.

 Program Background 

The WMTR II program is implemented by CENN with the support of USAID. The program assists the Government of Georgia (GoG) in modernizing the country’s waste management sector and supporting sustainable development and inclusive economic growth, ensuring the responsible management of natural endowments that will minimize adverse impacts from waste on human health and natural resources. 

The WMTR II has four main objectives: 

• Implementing an Integrated Waste Management System

• Private Sector-Led Recycling

• Illegal Dumping Penalties and Tariff Policy

• Public Outreach

The program mainstreams innovative approaches, applies new technologies, and streamlines strong partnerships to achieve, sustain and fulfill set objectives and solve developmental challenges. 

The purpose of the tender: 

The purpose of the tender is to ensure the purchase and transportation of bottle label remover and PET packing belt production line for the waste aggregating company. Brief information about the equipment and technical specifications is provided below:

Bottle label remover 

Ceiling - $11,000

• Capacity - No less than 500 kg/hour 

• Must separate 92% of packaging from the PET bottle

• No flakes waste and no water consumption

• Motor power: 7.5kw

• Fan power: 3kw

• Rotary Blade: 32 pieces (teeth 288 pieces)

• Fixed blade: 28 sets with 112 pieces (teeth 672 pieces)

• CE metal certificate of the equipment

• Warranty

PET packing belt production line  

Ceiling - $75,000

• Capacity - No less than 100 kg/hour 

• Thickness of produced belt - 0.6-1.3 mm

• Width of produced belt - 10-25 mm

• Producer of the control desk should be indicated

• Dimensions: The length of the line should be no more than 35 meters, line should be installed in the building with dimensions 18X24 meters, the line should have one corner of 90 degree

• Mould: at least double output

• Winder: the same number of mould output

• The line should be equipped with Drying System Silo and Dehumidify Dryer (honeycomb drying)

• CE metal certificate of the equipment

• Warranty

All equipment transportation 

Ceiling - $4,100

• The final destination of the equipment is Georgia, Rustavi. 

• Incoterms: DAP

• Please, indicate the way of transportation in the proposal.

To participate in the tender:  

Interested and qualified companies should submit their bids in one PDF file to: shorena.ebanoidze@cenn.org no later than July 26, 2019.  

Bids should include the following information:  

• Name, address, contact person and phone number of the company;

• Evidence of relevant work experience;

• Copy of a registration certificate of the company;

• Price in USD - per equipment, without transportation (should be provided excl. VAT);

• Transportation service in USD (should be provided excl. VAT);

• Time required for service delivery;

• Warranty terms and conditions.

Incomplete documentation will not be considered.   

Bids will be evaluated according to the following criteria:  

• Lower Price of the equipment;

• Warranty terms and conditions;

• Time required for the supply of the equipment.
